Porcellio Haasi 'High Yellow'
Description
Porcellio haasi 'High Yellow' is a large and striking Spanish isopod, prized for its vivid yellow markings contrasting against a dark brown to black body. This colour-selected line combines the impressive size and elongated form of P. haasi with a bold, high-contrast pattern that makes it an excellent display species.
Native to the drier regions of eastern and northeastern Spain, P. haasi is well suited to a well-ventilated enclosure with a clear moisture gradient. Mature males develop particularly long uropods, which make the sexes easy to distinguish and add to the distinctive appearance of this impressive species.
